Explorers club NGEN Cambodia expedition

The first Explorer’s Club NGEN expedition took place in December 2018, bringing together a multidisciplinary team of Explorers Club members. The team conducted various field research projects along the expedition’s route by packrafting down the Mekong River in Cambodia. The initiatives included microplastics studies, wildlife surveys, river health testing, and a local ethnographic study, among others. Throughout the expedition, the team also shared their research by virtually connecting with hundreds of students across North America.
